The La Genisia wines represent the most important line of wines obtained from special selected grapes.
The white wines
Pinot Nero (vinified in white), Pinot Grigio, Cortese, Riesling Italico, Garlà.
The red wines
Bonarda, Bonarda Selezione, Barbera, Barbera Selezione, Buttafuoco, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rugiade (sweet and aromatic).
The La Genisia line of wines has been enriched with:
- the Classic La Genisia Brut sparkling wine obtained from Chardonnay grapes;
- an “Acquavite” obtained from Cortese grapes;
- Grappa di Moscato;
- Grappa di Bonarda.

When you think of the Oltrepò Pavese area, you think of Bonarda-wine, the most typical wine of our territory, with its bright and sunny effervescence and its fruity flavour which opens the door to the most savoury dishes of our traditional cuisine…
It was the TALENTO D’ORO (Golden Talent) which was awarded to the La Genisia’s Bonarda – 1999 vintage, in sign of considering it “the best Bonarda in 2001”, during the most important oenological local Contest, the only one to have authorization to release “Distinctions” on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Of 251 anonymous samples which were presented, only 18 received a “Talent”, and one of them was the Bonarda-wine of Torrevilla’s La Genisia, which you can find in every good restaurant in the area, where good food is always combined with…the better wines.
